The embroidered canopy is made from high-quality velvet fabric in burgundy, with gold fringe forming a border around the entire piece. The sides of the canopy also feature richly embroidered symbolism.

The canopy features Eucharistic symbols such as IHS, a gold communion chalice with altar bread above it and rays emanating from both, the Chi Rho sign representing Christ, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus surrounded by rays. It also features an embroidered floral motif consisting of gold thistles. Vines with fruit and wheat form the background for the symbols. The underside of the canopy features a White Dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit.

Size, poles, stiffeners and Corpus Christi use

The canopy is sold without stiffeners. Poles with fittings and stiffeners are available for purchase, and channels for them have been prepared in advance.
