Made in Europe
The purple altar linen set consists of four pieces: a purple velvet chalice pall, a white corporal, a white purificator, and a white lavabo towel. All four pieces share a gold embroidery motif: the pall is decorated with a Eucharistic sun bearing the IHS monogram, while the white pieces feature gold cross embroidery.
Gold Embroidery on Velvet: Materials and Finish of the Catholic Altar Linen Set
The pall is made of purple velvet and decorated with multilayered embroidery in gold thread. The central motif depicts an eight-pointed Eucharistic sun with the IHS monogram, surrounded by floral arabesques. The pall's edges are finished with gold lace. It has a stain-resistant finish. The corporal, purificator, and lavabo towel are made of cotton fabric, and their edges are finished with embroidered scalloped trim.
